About the Host:

Rebecca Boyar has an extensive and varied career in horticulture, spanning nearly 35 years. She began managing an herb farm on the West Coast in the early ’90s before launching Canada’s first urban hydroponic training facility and developing a non-profit horticultural program. She later worked in agricultural brokerage, specializing in non-GMO soy and organic production, and became a Master Grower and Health Canada-approved Quality Assurance Processor in Quebec’s cannabis sector. Today, Rebecca is a West Coast Seeds Representative in eastern Ontario, sharing her deep-rooted passion for organic, sustainable growing.

Workshop Description:

In this seminar, we’ll dig deep into the world of cover crops and their vital role in regenerative gardening. Learn how these unsung garden heroes can improve your soil, control weeds, manage pests, and support beneficial insects and pollinators.
