May 6th, 2020 - After the Province of Ontario's recent announcement that certain businesses including garden centres can start to re-open, the owners at Les Serres Robert Plante Greenhouses have taken the decision to keep our greenhouses closed to the public for the time being.  We will be continuing to serve our customers with curbside pickup only.

 

This decision did not come easily.  The health and safety of our staff and customers have always been our top priority, which is why we feel keeping our doors closed the the public is the best option for everyone at this time.  By remaining open only for curbside pickup, we will be able to serve more of our wonderful clients in a safe and efficient manner.

 

Since the launch of our online store in late March 2020, we have learnt a lot and continue to improve our no contact curbside pickup experience:

• New products are added and re-stocked daily

• Over 700 products, plants and flowers available sorted by categories

• Quick online ordering process

• Safe, efficient pickup with zero contact

• Highly reviewed by our customers on Google

 

While we understand that online shopping and curbside pickup isn't the same as browsing through the aisles our greenhouses, we feel it is the safest option at this time.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to answer all of your specific gardening questions and queries as we normally would.  Due to the high volume of orders and very limited staff, we are extremely busy preparing orders and maintaining our greenhouses.  This leaves us with very little time to answer phone calls and emails.  Note that for any questions sent by email or social media, our reply may be significantly delayed.  For the time being, we have added a question hour to take calls Mon-Thurs from 4-5PM.

 

We want to thank all of our loyal customers, as well as our new clients, for all of your support during these difficult times.  We look forward to keep on serving you this Spring.
